too good to be true? depot t5 light

saw this the other day on depos site:

seems like a pretty solid light at a great price, but also seems too good to be true… any thoughts?

That’s a nice looking fixture at a good price, but seeing as it’s outputting 6400k you’re going to have to replace all 4 bulbs, right?

At $20 each you’re really looking at $218.

hypothetically you can run all 65K it looks pretty yellow though. adding a blue plus and a actinic would do alot for it. I am already running T5, so I have plenty of bulbs too…

I am actually thinking about getting this for hydroponics (legit veggies!) … but it seems too good to me… that said Im pretty tempted to pick one up.

The depot always treated me good with the return policy if you needed it. would prob work great for your purpose.

should work just fine. the local store by the airport also has a 6 bar. problem is the excessive width. but the 4 bar will fit over an 18 inch wide tank. front to back.
