I’m guessing this is a stag coral, DPA had it labeled as an ultra-color SPS. Any ideas??
Also check out this snazzy cucumber.

I’m horrible with SPS names.
I think it’s an acro
Of course that’s ALWAYS my answer too ;D
Some type of staghorn is my guess. put up another pic when the polyps come out if you can.
Very cool cucumber! i’ve always wanted one but the “if it dies it nukes the tank” that i’ve heard scares me. I heard the same thing about cowfish, but when mine died it didn’t affect anything.

There a couple of cucumbers that WILL NOT release toxins. In particular this crazy one I have and a variety that Dr. Mac was selling a while ago. They are good workers and the ornate one is quite beautiful!
Here’s a couple more pics, including the second crazy SPS I aquired.
These things are sweet! I’ve only seen a couple polyps emerge so far though. But I am moving them slowly up to the top of the tank.
Do you think oyster feast and phyto is adequate? Or should I be dosing MarineSnow?
Thanks guys!
I saw them the other day at dpa,did u see the drool I left infront of the tank? If I had the cash I was going to doo the sme thing you did and put them right into my tank too! Nice corals I would like to be first in line to buy some frags when your ready.good luck with them
#2 in line for the frag. Nice buy! hope it’ll do well for you.
LOL, I had to snag these guys! They are so nice. And yes, I had to ask Nathan to swipe that nast drool off the glass… I was hoping he’d scrape the price off too, lmao!
I’ll start a frag-wanted list for 'em both. You guys are first in line.
