Does this keep happening to anybody else? every once in a while, when i log in and go to “unread posts since last visit” there’s none there? makes it a real pain to look through recent posts?
anybody? this just started a few weeks ago, new to me
That happened to me a couple of months ago, but it was somehow corrected. Hasn’t happened to me since, though . . .
Got me, I log on often enough I don’t use that button, I just use the “New Posts” windo on the home page.
I’ll have our web master look in to it for you though.
I get the emails that a reply was made on a post but then check it and there is no reply. I think that is from the spammers and someone catching it and deleting before I see it.
I can almost guarantee that is happening.
yeah, i cleared some spam recently, the same spam on a bunch of threads yesterday. multiple copies on each thread, like 5-or 6 repeats on a thread. some on old threads not used in a while . thats how you got some notices of reply. then i zapped em shortly after.

same thing today… no unread new posts… but i got 10 in my email notificaton.
this is a pia, seems like i have to go into each individual forum to look for new posts.
i tried the recent/ new posts on the homepage, but it come up “no new posts”
is there somewhere else to click that shows me all recent posts?

It’s possible that you had a bad update recently, and it’s causing problems with browser extensions. I’ve had funky things happen to some web pages, and others act perfectly normal. To be sure, I just reinstall the browser. Perhaps this is the problem, but you have me stumped . . . :

i find this interesting. I use several different browsers including safari on several different machines… I have not seen this issue yet ::
maybe remove the E-mail notification , and you will have alist of unviewed posts on the forum. it might be saying, hey, i notified you. go get it.
mine seems to work fine. just had two pages of new posts to go through. i dont get email notes.
Or, switch to AOL , like me.
