well hopefully i can get the 75 going this year. it will crush this and make it look like some 14 year old’s tank.
good news is i might have finally kicked red bugs YahoO. saw the first one in a month a few days ago on a bottlebrush and dipped it quick(unfortunatly it has browned out, and it was doing really good too)

Are you kidding Brett? Your tank looks great! The frag of the valida I got from you is doing ok under my new HQI lights i installed 2 weeks ago. might be a bit bright, it is lightening up a little till it adjusts to the light, i hope. its still a new tank. only a couple months old. How is that purple monti cap chip doing? i didn’t see it in your tank pics.
Are you lighting it with that hamilton pendant you bought at the ECA auction last summer? If so, what brand and kelvin lamp are you using? Your lights seem to be working fine.
lights are 150 jbj viper clip on mh. i got this free from a reef as he was moving.
i am also running a 2 bulb coral life compact ficture, 130 watts.
the monti is doing fine. i took a picture, its the one that dosnt work.

i was talking about the tri color valida type acro.
what you cant see is the green “skin”. it actually like a 2 tone blue green with really blue tips. i really like it probably my favorite coral. its grown alot since i got, unfortunatly i will not be fragging that for a while lol.
Alright Bett. Im super confused. I have a huge tri color valida that looks exactly the way you describe it, but nothing like your pics. You really need to number you pics 
Anyways, what is the bright purple acro with green polyps in the 5th pic up from the bottom? Its a colony not a frag.
And what is the purplish frag 3rd pick up from the bottom? Ive got what i think is the same thing but i cant remember its name. Whatever it is, its the SLOWEST growing coral in my tank!!
