Have you tried a Minn Kota?
I love seafood chowder :GEEK:
LOL!!

I would just replace the pump, save the old one for spare parts.

I am a firm believer that electricity and water are a bad combination. As much as I would worry about stray voltage whacking the tank and livestock I’d worry more about the effects of putting my hand in the tank with the possibility of an exposed wire touching the water. I enjoy time with my family too much to take that risk.

Yeah I got a shock when I fed. Had a cut it got me and when I unplugged the pump the clams reacted to it. A lesson protect your cords I’m gonna cover all cords now. I have a ground probe too but you need a gfci for that to work and mine did, but I plugged it into a normal outlet after which was stupid

I had a heater go bad in a tank. I touched just the edge of the tank and felt the shock. It was only like that for a day and everything was ok luckily. Was kinda scary my convict blenny got electric shock therapy.
