so for valentines day my wife got me a bucket o salt a reef hobbyist magazine and even snuck a sixline wrasse into my tank with out me knowing :

Very very cool - that’s a good wife there - but don’t let anyone ever add anything to your tank without you knowing - if they haven’t done the research you could be in a lot of trouble. Once had someone’s spouse buy them a BIG beautiful angelfish - which promptly wiped out their tank.
Well she knew I wanted a sixline and she is the one that originally got me into aquariums so I trust her and she wouldn’t have bought it if she hadn’t known I wanted one

IME “they” only truly respond to physical beatings during the training process… But use caution, this can backfire with the stubborn ones, and after so many years of beatings they can get all “Tina Turner” on ya… and roll down the river.
