Anyone have a small tank, I would prefer an AIO nano. Some of you may remember me, I sorta had a cool tank that fell apart while I was 5,000 miles from home. I am kicking around the idea of setting up a very small, basic system if I can find something for a good price. If anyone has anything, let me know.
Trust me, I want nothing more then a big tank again, but I told myself I wont do it until I buy my forever home.
I think a small All in one would work just fine for me. Anyone have any suggestions, anything affordable with decent lighting? I feel like I have been out of the hobby forever, but everytime I see a tank I cant help but think about having one of my own.
I have a 37 gallon cad light pro reef . Tank has some scratches but not bad with water in it
It is drilled with a overflow. The stand needs work but I have the pieces to do it
Has a 10 gallon sump with a fuge
Light is a 24 inch cad light . 150 watt mh and 2 T5’s
Looks good. The bare bottom idea seems like a good plan. I was thinking of running the tank without a skimmer, but only keeping soft corals, possibly an anemone and a pair of clowns. I found a friend that will be selling me an established 8 gallon tank today. I will get it home and setup and let things settle in before I stock it. I will post pictures soon.
So today I picked up my new tank, an Evolve 8 with live rock, sand, some inverts and a few frags. The tank was established and running for well over a year. Well then I came across a Craigslist ad for a 14 Gallon biocube with a DIY cree LED setup, the price was too good to pass up, so needless to say I am back in the hobby, and I have already upgraded within the first day! Things are still cloudy, but the 14 looks good, and I cant wait to get this thing stocked. Im not sure what is worse, not having a tank, or having an empty tank!
:Welcome) Back Dave! true having a small tank is better than not having one. I got my 29g biocube to satisfy my needs as well. Like a crack addiction. ::
