I’m currently on a mission to start replacing the fish I’ve lost in the last few months.
Just picked up a beautiful Blue Throat Trigger last week that has acclimated well and gets along with my tomato clown (first fish EVER to get along with that psychotic b!tch).
Hoping to add a few new tangs before the holidays.
Just picked up some Hannas from BRS while they were on sale for 35.00. Also just picked up a new RBTA now that ive finally figured out the issue with my tank and corals and seem to have gotten it fixed, now its time to go on a coral spree!

Jamie is the problem your water softner? If so can you get your ro water before it goes into the softner? Then you dont need to buy that stuff to add

No I cant. But adding it isnt a issue. Besides, it helps keeps my pH at 8.3 and it is not really that pricey considering the small amount of water volume I have. Since my Hannas have came in, I’ve tested my water everyday. And will continue for at least the rest of the week before going to weekly/bi-weekly. My eyes could be playing tricks on me but I purchased a cheap staghorn frag from Mike @ The Fish Bowl and I swear it looks as if it has new growth on the tip. Which in my case is unheard of. If this is the case, I will be on happy camper! I think it is time for me to get a few more frags in there and see how the tank acts. Fingers crossed!
Stopped by DPA for their weekend sale and picked up a few blue eyed anthias, a yellow tang, and the fattest, prettiest powder brown tang I’ve ever seen.
Everyone is still playing nice, and now there’s some nice color swimming around in the tank. One more good cleaning and it’ll be ready to have company over.
I held a 5.7,I was very shocked at how cheap it felt! I was expecting more I guess for the price and it’s a little big for ccw. Is that a carry or a just in case?
