It’s been a busy month so far for us and we though it might be nice to share what we’ve been up to! Recently we had a group from the local elementary school come in for a tour of the facility. We set up a little touch tank for them, feed the Moray Eel, and teach them a little about coral aquaculture and how it helps to protect the natural ecosystems these animals come from.

And all this past week Dr. Mac has been down in Florida visiting some of our suppliers. He’s on his way back now with some great new stock to begin posting later this week or first thing next week! A few preview shots taken while he was down there:

We love having groups to educate and generate interest in our hobby. We regularly host tours for senior groups, schools, boy and girl scouts, reef clubs, etc. We feel it is important to help develop interest in our hobby for future generations and to educate about our captive propagation work.
