My algae sheets are running low and they are too expensive to buy from fish stores, so I am going to get nori from now on. I looked at acme and they didn’t have it, anyone in the hockessin, pike creek, newark area have a place that sells nori? Thanks.
asian food or grocery stores, most likely also the newark food coop.
Which grocery stores? I’ve been to a few acmes and none of them had it.
I know people who live in newark use nori, just gotta wait until someone replies with a definite place to buy it at.
All Asian Markets have nori. Its a staple in there diet. The Asian Market of Kirkwood Hwy in the same s/c as Kohls. It is in the little strip center that is in front of the Pathmart to the right of Kohls. There is a shamrock printing next to it.
Get nori that is not seasoned or has oil added. Last time it was $6.59 for 50 sheets
Sweet, sounds good to me. Thanks Al!
I ended up getting a pack of nori that was $9.89 for 100 sheets. Not too bad, I’m pretty suyre it isnt seasoned. They had the 50 sheets for $6.99 but I’ll go through 100 sheets in no time.
Safeway (Genuardis) in peoples plaza also has it. In the last row before the food court area.
Cool thanks.
I think this place is the best for me, 100 sheets for under $10 bucks, plus its close to home so I can easily run out and get more when I need it.
