Which one?

I’m trying to figure out which to switch to on tank, I have a 4 bulb t5, but the height of my tank it will be hard to grow corals, I want to switch to led. I’m trying to pick between the marsaqua and sb reef lights or something similar. I would appreciate any and all opinions.

I don’t know anything about those lights, but I’ve been running 150W Chinese LED fixtures for years and am very happy with them. They’re also around $75 each these days. Check my signature to see how I hacked them.

Welcome to the forum!

I run a Kessil A360WE over my 50g cube. It’s a great light. It does have some shortcomings though. I previously ran DIY LEDS and had a lot of success with them too.

Tell us more about your tank and I’m sure we can come up with some ideas.

I have 110 tall with an eshopps refugium and live rock and sand, huge clean up crew and several fish. I want to start corals, but my t5 isn’t cutting it anymore, so want do switch to led.

Do you have a hood? have you thought about LED / T5 combo
what are your DIY skills and willingness?
Budget?
Since you don’t have corals yet, what are you planning for, Softies / LPS - easy SPS / SPS dominate

No hood, open top, I’m thinking of soft and easy sps for now, as far as diy, I’m okay, but I’m looking for plug and play.

Budget is about 200 to 300.

Kessil won’t do it then. You would need two and one is $400. Check out SB Reeflights. ASR has them in stock if you want to check them out.
