Because group buys are club sponsored and initiated. When there is a current groupbuy you will have the ability to post. You can look forward to some great group buy opportunites this year. Ellen will be working very close with our sponsors as well as new sources to bring the club new and exciting choices this year. There was also an idea last year for an informal member-generated groubuy forum called shipping buddies that was never fully implemented. Its an idea that we will certainly look into again this year.
Ya, the shipping buddies was the idea i was thinking about. i would like to see that sometime this year.
quick ? why not open the forum up to people with 15+ posts, and use the group buys for the shipping group buys and the club sanctioned big group buys…
because you will need more than posts to participate moving foward and the groupbuy forum will be part of a larger restructuring. also, you can use another forum for now if you want to share shipping with someone for a specific vendor.
