Wooden pallets, what to do with them?

My company has received many shipments on wooden pellets in the past. Occasional truck drivers in a rush will not take the pallets back. At this point we have a couple that we need to get rid of.

Any idea of what to do with them?(practically and legally)

Would anyone like them for free?

You can just put them on the curb on oyur regular trash day. ONe of 2 things will happen:

A. Someone comes by in the middle of the night and takes them because they can be resold to shipping companies.

B. The trash guys take them in the morning with the rest of your refuse.

you could take them apart, pull all the nails and staples, sand and clean the lumber, then make rustic tank stands out of them?

Build the tree house of your child hood dreams out of them on the back porch, without the tree?

“A” could use the lumber to panel his new man cave?

Build a fence?

or drop off at a recycle business.

Pallets For Pyros !!

My sister works at Lowes, I literally get them by the truck loads for bonfires. Few beers and this crap starts happening…

I find it necessary at this point to add a “Do not try this at home, these stunts are performed by trained adults with their own medical coverage / liabilities and a strong and intoxicated liver, neither DRC nor it’s officers, moderators, members, nor it’s own alcoholics can encourage, condone, or egg on such behavior”

:stuck_out_tongue:

That is all.

And don’t drink and frag.

Liking Craig’s input most so far. Wearing too many hats with the business right now. Fire, drinks, and marsh-mellows sounds sweet, but finding time to sleep is hard enough as is.

Just be carefull which pallets you burn. Most are treated for pests and such

Very good point and 100% correct

True but I think they’re treated with copper now. They stooped using arsenic a few years ago. Not nearly as dangerous.
