Worm

I know u really can’t identify things without pics but a seen a worm that was extremely long and light tan color with one red stripe going through middle of body if any one has any clue please let me know it doesn’t look like bristle

Does it look like this one? is it flat or round / tubular?

Oh and here is a GREAT site for identifying things we find in our tanks.

Another link you can check: A Hitch Hikers Guide to the Reefs

Thanks for the site information that will definitely come in handy

For you worm experts out there, I have what look to be scale worms living in a couple of rocks. Could they be the culprit in a declining GSP colony? They are maybe 1/4 inch long white and have two rows of black spots. Anyone?

I know a professor at UD that is a real worm expert, but he doesn’t know the tropical stuff as well. From that description I really have no idea. Doesn’t sound like the typical benificial critters though…

Photos?
