Anyone have one or know what brand isn’t tempered?
From what I have read mostly only 55’s are coming with all tempered glass, I think most 10s and 20’s only have tempered bottoms.
It doesn’t matter if it’s tempered a 10gallon drilled is pretty much worthless. By the time your tighten the bulkhead the tank will crack. If you are luck enough to get the bulkhead on the weight of a inch of PVC will make the lever strong enough to break the tank. The only option you have is to get something acrylic or a custom glass job which would likely cost north of $200.
20gallons can be drilled if your cautious.(slightly thicker glass on most) What dimensions are you looking for? 20gallons come in three different dimensions.
i want a short tank any will do just dont want too big I’m going to experiment with a full led system with all spectrums needed to grow and color corals like a metal halide. all i will do is add a pump from my main system and pipe it back to the system to use my water so the test is real and accurate
