I wanted to put out a heads up that I will be looking for a baffled nano tank similar to the aquapod, Bio Cube or redsea. Probably this summer.
<25 gallons, t5 preferred (but I could DIY), does not need a skimmer. Livestock not required but would consider.
If you see a real nice deal for one w or w/o stand let me know. abcd
Don’t know how good of a deal this is (really don’t know much on pricing on aquapods etc, but they are cool little tanks) but I saw this on RC, just figured I’d post it.
Goodluck in finding a tank, nice to see you get back into the hobby (you are tankless at the moment right?)
I know you still had the 210g (empty) and the 75g was torn down, but didn’t know if there was a nano hiding somewhere. That is where all your time should be spent, but it would be nice to get him into the hobby at such a young age! Not to mention most kids love fish tanks.
When I was in Williams Greenbank on Thursday last week, he had a used Red Sea, complete with stand, in nice condition. It was empty and he wanted $500 for it. If interested, call before you go to be sure he still has it. P.S., I believe Red Sea has a second generation of this 24, which has some enhancements, the one he had was the first generation.

Wait, Al. I didn’t know you were into actually running fish tanks? I thought you just liked to have them sit in your back yard empty. >LOL<
P.S. will keep an eye out for ya[/quote]
If I don’t do something soon with that thing my wife will make me get rid of it. She hates it out back

So what your saying is that all we have to do is wait and we’ll see a 220g going up for sale? Maybe someone should drop the hint to her that it would be sold quick
either that or dread the day Al invites half a dozen of us over to carry the tank down into the basement. That thing is heavy. and the door is low and small and the stairs are steep. I gotta see this. so i guess I’m in.

I’ll give ya three times what ya got for it. It will go nicely next to your my 75.
I got it for free and only spent gas ($50), tolls($5) and a few sodas to the help ($7.50) to move it. $62.50 X 3 $187.5 Fine, but only if Jen makes me get rid of it.

that thing is very heavy. The glass is thick. I would say in the neighbor hood of 400lbs
