Found one of my poor sand sifting starfish last night with only 1 full leg and 3 stumps left.
Only items newly added to the tank would be a few emerald crabs and a Powder Blue tang.

Don’t think so. It look eaten. And there is a ton of food for it in the tank.

I’m thinking it had to be the lobster, but he’s been in there with them since day 1. Why would he start eating them now?

yes it was probably the lobster my sand sifter was turned into a quadaplegic as well last year. had center circle and one very short stump.

yeah it was, which is what is making me blame the lobster. That and as I thought about it I relaized it’s been over a week since I’ve thrown meaty food in the tank.
Damn now i feel bad for the lobster.
Well, its good to know that it wont starve to death if you dont feed it. You may run out of other critters, but it wont starve to death.
