If you don’t want the constant chore I would just remove every last bit of Kenya tree you can. I have thrown away literally buckets full of this soft coral.(Just last week 1/4 full of a 5 gallon bucket) Not from my own tanks any more, but from new clients. It can be almost as difficult to eradicate as aiptasia and majano anemones. With your size tank who ever you are giving it to will eventually want no more, so the choice becomes trash or a tank full of nothing both them.
