Well this is my little tank Ian got for me.Its got cyano and hair algae so other than picking it out and sticking it in the trash is what I have been doing so far… I really dont know what to do so much about that
Here is a couple pictures When we got the tank on March 13
I am probably only going to keep the Zenia and the red star or pipe organ polyps.
Hopefully try to sell the rest.
So Little by little I have been tearing and sucking away the algae even found some red bubble algae as well. :-? I have moved corals around to try and pick at the hair algae. But if you are interested in the Anthelia green zoos or green pipe organ and also I think its a kenya tree Id be happy to sell it to you. Here is some updated pictures as of march 23 (today)I even bought a little mushroom lol
Ken he is a Gold Neon Eviota Goby. He is a tiny thing. Hope fully when
Ian gets the 75 up and running I can take over the babies tank so I can get some of my own corals and fishies. Just need to buy lights >.<
That’s a nice Goby. I like Gobies. They are so cool. They are perfect for nano’s or any larger community reef tank. Lots of personality. They perch, they hop, they swim… they just sit there and make faces at you sometimes. Nice fish.
So Here is some more pics of my little 3 gallon We went to Dr. Macs so I got a 2 more mushrooms to stick in there I even got a picture of my bumble bee goby. The tank is starting to look alot better still got some hair algae and cyano.I also have anthelia everywhere because I fragged it a week ago. >.< now I dont know what to do with it… Im gonna try to sell it to the LFS maybe get some credit.
nice coral. i have about 10 of the chili peppers on a rock. i love them. im going to frag them once there back to 100%. what kind of lights are on the tank?
Looks really good, I like how you have it set up. It seems bigger than 3 gal. Love the bumble bee and the little red gobie. If and when you frag your red chili or the blue frilly shrooms let me kno. Do you have problems with your big snail knocking stuff over? Mine just plows thur like a bulldozer sometimes. Your little tank looks nice Starry. Good job! GolfC.

SO I went to DPA today… They got a lot of great stuff in! They had some green clown gobys and I have wanted one of them for a long time… so I had an impulse buy… LOL But he is tiny so Ill just have to stick him in Ians 75g When He gets bigger but that wont be for a while… I will take some pics tomorrow The tank Is looking great!
be carefull with them. i have noticed my yellow clown goby picking at my sps. nothing major but it scared the poop out of me. the worse part was not being able to catch the little guy and wathing him try to tear into my nice pink stylo. dont worry all that happen was some polys retraction but im pretty soure hes not going to be in the next tank.

Hmmm Thats weird we have a Yellow Citron clown goby in the 55g and he doesnt nip at anything he just floats around and sits on corals
i didnt know you could keep those bumble bee gobies in strictly saltwater? i had some years back that i was advised to keep them in brackish water if i wanted them to live longer than 6 months?? have you ever heard any of this??? and how long have u had ur little guy (or gal) in saltwater for?

Well He isnt in ther anymore… I dont know what happend when I went to the LFS the had the bumble bees for a dollar and I was like hey whynot! they sold him to me as a saltwater fish then later when I was reading up on him i realised he was a brackish fish. He was real fat and happy while he was in there.
I got 2 new zoas for my tank Fire and Ice and Zombie eyes… I also just got a new tiny rbta and a small new rock. My little green goby is livin in my frilly mushroom and the red goby likes to perch next to the rbta lol I moved everything around and I finally Love the way everything is. I did some major cleaning in my sand as well.
