just wondering if anyone needs fishing wieghts. I am going to start making them to sell. I can make the following wieghts…1 2 3 4 6 8 oz. They will be brassed eyed round cannon style. I can sell them for 3 for a dollar any size.

Bottom fishing is already open for weeks now.
Flounder season opened down here on April 14th, had 2 keepers, 18" and 20". Since then the winds have blown and there is nothing but dirty water and nobody is catching flounder.
Tried the surf today for stripers, no luck 
little one had a blast though!

ha its a thresher by “B” buoy we caught another the next year weighing 5 lbs less than that one. but found that pic first. I fish like crazy lol
Nice Tim! I haven’t caught one that big, couple years ago I got, a 60 lb yellow fin, not that impressive but good eats! My friend was a charter capt. For many years and still has one of his boats, 28’ CC.
We also tuna. Four years ago we hammered them every time. But a year later hit or miss. The past two. We hardly got out due to weather and bad fishing reports. This year we may skip tuna. They can’t seem to figure out way the limit will but we think it’s one bluefin and a couple yellows. We will drop some tuna rigs while we shark fish (makos). I hooked one with a large gimble spinning reel, while sharking and it was on port side running out to starboard the line was under the boat and I couldn’t gain control and lost it lol.
Gotta have a good Capt. backing down the fish
