Heard they were catching a lot of them on Gulp! …um… white strips I think it was, not sure the exact name.
Got a 36" striper lost two that weren’t hooked but held onto the bait. Very picky fish hard to hook.

key is let them eat bait. feel tug and free spool for few minutes or use sliders . wetroll for them so they hook themselves…lol

Nice catch. I guess I’m going to have to start fishing in DE, we can only keep 2 fish here in NJ. And, only in non spawning area’s.
It’s the same here 2 per person and below the c&d but there are differences in nj. And de. Which isn’t right. It’s the same body of water but sizes are different. Like flounder.

In NJ it’s two Stripers @ 28" min. Flounder is now 17.5" down from 18 last year. Is it different in the DE Bay?
Holly smoke. Stripers must really have come back. when i was still fishing, there weren’t that many in the whole bay! Nice catch.

It is 28" but flounder were 19" or 21" I think. The whole problem is if you go out of nj. And have a 18" on your boat then cross the canal and get caught your fined its stupid how it’s different.
flounder is 18 inches for us delawarians. 4 per person daily

5 Flounder here in NJ. Season May 5 through Sept. 28. That’s a big improvement over last year. What’s the season in DE?
