Club Elections - Nomination Time

It’s time once again for our annual club elections. Elections will be held on Monday January 26th at our normal monthly meeting.

Please use this thread to nominate anyone you feel would be a solid officer capable and willing to continue to grow the club, improve the meetings, and move us forward through 2015.

Current Officer positions fillable by election:
President
Vice-President
Secretary
Treasurer
Social Chair (NEW)

Any and all members in good standing are eligible for nomination. Roles for each position can be found in our by-laws:

Since I just added a social chair, I will spell out the responsibilities here. The social chair will be responsible for promoting the club (ie, managing our terrible social media footprint, organizing membership drives, creating posters/flyers, etc.), taking and posting pictures of club events, and assist in the planning of major DRC events (ie. frag swap, holiday dinner, summer BBQ, etc.).

I did the club officer thing before. Not my cup of tea. I will help when I can but not really the officer type.

Section 3 It shall be the responsibility of the Secretary to inscribe the proceedings of all meetings and to be prepared to read the specified records when requested. This office requires the maintenance of Club records, except those designated to other officers. When the President and vice president are absent in any meeting, the Secretary shall preside. The Secretary shall also be responsible for maintaining copies of all correspondence as directed by the board. The Secretary shall also be responsible for maintaining the web site and all forum maintenance.

I like this ,but it be nice to see Paul show up every once in a while ;D please no shorts and dam sure no dress :~S . BTW you need to get a tank back up and running even if its a baby.
