Im down for whatever A, sponsors or not the shirts look slick. It would make our shirts look more professional.
If we got more than 1 sponsor interested how would it work? Would they be stacked on top of each other in one location? Or could we sale parts of the shirt to sponsors like they would a nascar so to speak.lol
Centered is good. Will the sponsor’s name/logo be on the sleeve or somewhere else? If it makes no difference in cost I’d put the sponsor on the sleeve.
Regarding sponsors. I think it would make the shirts look more professional and it gives our sponsors a position to advertise at a large event. I do agree that they should pay above the minimum to just ink their logo/web url on the sleeve as we will be the ones showing them off.
Figure how many shirts you want to buy. If its below 50, then add $7.00 to each shirt for each sponsor, then add a percentage of the overall cost into that number.
If a sponsor does agree, we’ll need them to send me a logo/web url that they don’t mind being TWO COLORS. Blue, White, or Blue and White.
I did a quick example with Premium Aquatics logo. CutomInk says that the sleeve logos are 3.5"x3.5" area. However, there “Design Lab” does not currently show what the shirt would look like with the logo on the sleeve. I did have them size the logo appropriately for me so I could show you guys an example of the size that would be on the sleeve. You’ll see the logo they sized for me below…just picture it on the sleeve. This is also adhering to the color limitations.
My suggestion would be to A. Look local, we may be able to get a discount on the printing by allowing the printer to place THEIR logo on the shirt as well.
When I or my wife run races most times the event comes with a commemorative t-shirt. On the back of the shirt, lower 3rd under the event logo would be 2"x2" sponsor logos. It allows many sponsors, it gives them all the same real-estate, and allows the sponsors to cover the expense of the shirts. $15 to have logo included on 50 shirts to be warn around/by people in the hobby is pretty cheap advertising.
Well, I went to 2 screen printing store here in Dover and the price they gave me was way more than what CustomInk gave us for 50 shirts. One store quote me $14.45 per shirts $722.50 and the other one was $14.23/ $711.50. And this was one color shirt and two color logo. With small logo front left chest and large logo back with some writings on it.
Oh and no go on them add their logo for their sponsorship. So, right now our best bet is CustomInk, I think. THOUGHTS?
take a look @ http://www.rushordertees.com/
very good prices, my wife is also checking to see who they use as they are a non-profit they always have to get bids for everything, she should be able to let me know who in the area gives breaks to non-profits also.
i’ll get one i like black and orange also think the sponsor logo should go on sleeve or on the top of the back like where a tag would be that would look ok
For $2.53 more I personally like the CustomInk because of the lettering. I also like the 2014 under the frag swap (like the sample shirt on page 4 of this thread) rather than the whole circle.
I think we went with 2 colors because of the color of the logo Tim.
Rob, can you please do a sample with just one color black lettering and logo on orange shirt? just to see what it looks like. Thanks
Thanks Rob. I personally would go with the orange shirt with the 2 colors. I think the one color black is too bland. We’re getting close to narrowing it down. Once everyone throw in their :TWOCENTS we should have something we all would appreciated getting.
Again, I like the design with larger 2014 on it like the one on page 4 of this thread.
One thing I’d like feedback on is the Full Circle design, where the “Delaware Reef Club Frag Swap 2014” is all in one full circle vs. “Delaware Reef Club Frag Swap” in the circle, with 2014 just below it.
Anyone like one vs the other?
A’s vote is 2014 under the circle, but I believe he’s the only one thats mentioned it.
