Hi guys(and girls)! I have never been to one of the meetings and just signed up on the websight. I am planning on coming to the meeting tomorrow night and joining the club as a member. Is there anything I should bring with me? I am looking forward to coming and meeting people with the same addiction as me! lol!

You’re in luck there’s a ton of us that share this addiction hobby. Just bring yourself, your sense of humor, some money for the raffle (if you choose). This month we have frags donated by Zona322 and our “Golden Ticket” raffle item is a rimless cube tank. (fyi $20 gets you 4 tickets in to the frag raffle and 1 in to the golden ticket raffle).
Oh and an appetite is good too - I think we’ll have some pizza and snacks again this month.

So, question about tomorrows meeting…
Whats on the agenda? I’ve heard frag raffle, golden ticket raffle, camera class, calibrate refractometers, video about building an acrylic frag tank… Is all of that stuff happening? or has it been paired down? Just curious. I am definitely coming up, and I am stopping by to pick up my step-mom and my Dad but Dad’s only really coming if you all are gonna talk about taking pictures of our tanks.
Also, if you are still doing the camera class, should we bring our cameras? I was gonna bring my camera and the lenses and flash I use to take pictures, if that is what you all were expecting.
Also, will there be a table set up for first time visitors that are planning on paying to join? OR do we look for a guy in a special shirt or something?

We will have the video on how to build the acrylic tank - at least I think that’s what John said it was one ;D
We are having the photo seminar - bring your equipment. Raffles are a given at any meeting.
Oh and on that note - we are adding a Refractomoeter from Premium Aquatics to this month’s raffle - it will be part of the frag portion!!!
I will be there and I have a video of my acrylic frag tank build for those who are interested.
I’ll be doing a photography workshop, so def bring your camera… I’ll “try” to give an explanation on the settings on the camera, and how they affect the shot. I’m no expert photographer, but hope to clear up some mystery behind ISO, Aperture , white balance… etc… Tank photography has its challenges, and the “auto mode” on cameras usually gets fooled easily, so i hope to share some info that will help get better results… Trust me, i wont bore anybody with a long drawn out presentation, i’m more of a hands on and Q & A type… Whatever camera you use bring it…
