Hi Everyone!!

Hey Everyone,

My names Casey, Im new to this forum. My wife and I just got stationed up here with USAF in July of last year. Ive been in this hobby for bout 7-8 years and still learning. Ive had anywhere from a 10 gallon to a 220. I have now setup a Oceanic 30 cube that im slowly turning into a full blown reef.
My setup is as follows- 30gl Cube, 10gl Sump, H&S 110 skimmer, Maxpsect 110 LED lighting, quietone 4000 return, 2x nano tunze PH. Livestock- 2 picasso clowns, 6 line wrasse, green clown goby and an algea blenny. Corals- 1 duncan, small rock of green with blue tip hairy mushrooms, small eagle eye zoe frag, 2 xenia frags, kenya tree, hollywood chalice frag, purple tip frogspawn, montipora vietnaminses (spelling) frag, and a tricolor acro frag. All frags were purchased while on leave in NC last month.

Looking forward to getting to know everyone and hoping to learn and share what knowledge i have.
Take care,

Casey

not the best photographer and tank is dirty will be getting a water change and changing substrate soon.
Enjoy guys.

The clowns have incredible markings…very nice fish…and i really like the rockwork…is it attached or stacked?

any info on the lights? are there blues in the fixture? certainly looks bright!

rockwork is stacked. Im always moving rock around lol.

Lights- yes the blues are in the light. I can get ya the specs on it i dont have them off the top of my head. I purchased the light from Finsreef.com The store was 30 mins from my home town.

btw the light is abuot 5 inches off the water.

Welcome to the site

Nice tank,

That light looks pretty nice!! Little of all the needed colors ::thumbsup::

led lights i envy GolfC

thanks guys. I really love the light. Its strong enough to reach the bottom of the tank, it quiet, and easy to operate. It also stays cool and doesnt put off heat at all. I have it hanging from the ceiling mounts. Pics look alot brighter because it catches the light directly to the bulbs.

:Welcome) Casey, YEA!! finally another Dover or maybe Kent county reefer. Like your setup! You brought those corals up all the way from NC? I’m retired USAF as well and thanks for your service.

Reefman- Thank you for your support. And yes sir i brought those back from NC. Just so happens that the one time we do go back to nc for vacation and bring something live back with us we get stuck in a snow store in DC. 4 hours stand still traffic made for a total 14 hour drive home.

I guess you must have insulated them very, very well. Lucky you.

On your LEDs, would you know the PAR readings on your current set up?
