LED Group buy

Here is how this is going to work; you all will have to tell me the led lights you want. Then everyone will have to get the payment to me through paypal. I will then put the order in with my manufacturer. It will take up to 4 weeks to get them in, then I will drive them down to someones house the next day and meet everyone there. I am doing this to help out everyone on this site as a new sponsor. I love giving back to the people that help me. here we go. If you have any questions about the lights let me know. I will help with any questions you have.

all this lights are made with 3 watt leds to out specs crystal white and 440 nm blue’s leds. All the lights come with a 3 year warranty if any thing happens to the light in the 3 years just get with me and i will get you a new one or fix yours. Also all the lights have fans in the fixtures. the 60 and 90 watt pendents have the power supply’s built in. All the pro series are not built in witch are fully dim-able witch means you can control the blue and white leds separately to give you just the right color you want for your tanks. Led par values for all this lights will hit 150 at the bottom of a 24 inch deep tanks. all you would have to tall me is the diminutions of your tank and i would be able to tell you what light you would need to get the coverage for you tanks. For example if you have a 90 gal take you would need the 120w 48 inch pro series to get the coverage over the hole tank. For one of the guys on here that has a tank that’s 48x36x24 would need the 240w pro series with some different optics for coverage and still get the par at the bottom of the tank. I will also be offering different optics for sale for you all to try.

Also, I will get some pics of the units we got in last month and post them up so everyone can see what they look like. They look just like a nova t5 light housing.

PoM hey craig how bout some pics lmao PBJ!

HA HA HA HA Mike

i did alotta research before settling on AI leds. most people wanted to know the following:
are both blue/white individually dimmable?
what happens if a bulb or 2 go out? easy to fix?
made in US?
Cree 3 watts?
warranty?
PAR ratings?
Tank pics?
hung or using legs?
brand of heatsinks?
fans?
just a quick pic of my 75 w/2 AI mods set at 70% white/50% blue/royal blue, hung 13" above water level, as a higher % will need slower breaking in so as not to hurt the critters

i expect to provide par numbers later today

Par ratings? Name brand? What happens if these break down in a month?

I know guy I will get all that info posted in a min I just go to tired last knight.

would the 120watt be enough to keep a couple clams in a 75 gal?

you would be fine with the 120w pro service on a 75 gal even with this light you will hit 150 + par at the bottom of a 75.

Craig are you keeping and sustaining clams under these??? I don’t think 75 par is enough.

Bill I think its 150 par not 75

verdict_in

Yeah sorry I forgot my reading glasses today. ;D

lol Bill yes we keep clams under that same light at Mikes house in his 75 gal

:stuck_out_tongue:
Yeah 150 works I just can’t read tonight. :-)lol

PBJ!k so hi guys im mike nice 2 meet all of you …clams need about 30 par 2 grow a sustain life…chalices 4 the most about 35 to 50 only the most demanding sps require high levels of radiation ive had 2 90 watt pendants over my dt for mounts now n the color and growth is nuts … PoM nems n clams hide from intense light…the brand name of these lights is northernlights they a guaranteed 4 3 years against manufacture defects so if lets say a few leds short out u get a new lite i couldnt find an affordable led fixture wit the features i wanted so i started testing and developing my own and for all u patriots im so sorry but to keep the production cost down i had to sub it out so these lites are not made in the usa :SURRENDER but they do have a 3year warranty so no worries neother? fell free to ask ..........Mike@northernlightsaquaculture.com

Mike are the blue and white lights individually controllable/dimmable?

OK wise guy - so why don’t I ask it this way:

If I get the 4’ 240w Pro Series can the whites and blue be dimmed individually or do they all have to be dimmed equally at one time?

How is the dimming of lights controlled? Can they be controlled via an external source?
