Not everything was in a place that was easy to grab a picture and I didn’t do any moving around so only what was easy to photograph got done.

Well lets hope it grows fast.

Finally after placing an order on January 2nd my 3 Reef radiance DM-165P+ fixtures arrived. Must say they look nice.

Plan is to replace my display tank lights with these and then use my current lights for the frag tank. But since I have so many new corals adjusting to my tank and lights I don’t want to change the lights at this moment. So for now I have set up two of these over my frag tank. They a rather high but without something to extend the hanging fixtures this is where they are.

Put some test frags in there to see how they do before moving over the bulk of the frags.

Some exciting times ahead.

Looking good!looking forward to buying some more stuff from you!

After being out of frag plugs for a week. I got more in today

DSC00643[1] by phubbard26, on Flickr

We will have to see how long these last. Have plans for about 20-30 of them later today.

I have already gone through 100 of the 400 I got. Been busy all day long, several different zoas, Jack o lantern, bonsai, green tort, jedi mind trick, monti undata, JF special porites, spongades, pavano and still some more to go.

Whoa! I know who I’m reaching out to when my tank is up

About one month growth rate picture.

Did some rearranging today to the left side of the tank. Got a branch real reef rock from PEA and incorporated it the tank. What it did look like

What it looks like now.

Also picked up some emerald crabs, hermits and snails at PEA to keep the new frag tank clean.

And no trip to PEA is complete without one new coral so I got two.

This Acro that I got from CoralFarmer back in November found it perminant spot in the new arrangement. Like the way it is looking.

So far I love them have only had them running about a week so still to early to tell much. I have seen no negative effects from switching the lights. I like the controllability and they bring out more color than my old lights. If all goes well after a month I will be buying 2 more so that my display and frag tank will both be using them currently they are on the frag tank and 1/3 of the display tank. How are all the zoas doing that you got from me?

yea havnt had a chance to officially thank you for the frags, but they are all doing very well, we are very happy with them PBJ!

Right now the are programmed to slowly ramp up and max out at 55% for both white and blue then fade out. The blues do this over about an 14hour period and the white do it in about a 8 hour period. May increase later but didn’t want to burn anything since my old fixture used 1w LED and these are 3w.

Finally got all the egg crate out of my display tank and have done some rearranging.

Tank now looks like this

It has been about a month now that the full tank has been running on a higher powered LED The left has been running on them for about two months now. Seen a lot of difference. Only running them at 55% max but that is much more powerful than my previous LED most the acros have responded well with increased growth and some have changed colors for the positive. Have had some negatives. Most my LPS have lost color and I have tried moving the ones that I could to more shaded areas. Some zoas have also been negatively impacted and I am experimenting with location. Next steps are to get a clam for the middle of the tank and just let things grow.
