Looking very nice John. that superman millie(red with blue) is doing vey good for you. great growth and color. mine browned out a couple months ago. i got to improve my water.

All I can say is BEAUTIFUL!!!

By the way forgot to mentioned love that Pearlberry acro, love the color. Gonna have to get with Ken when my new tank is up and running.

Thanks everyone for the nice comments.

Scottman81, I do have both of those frags. You can see them in the full shots, just hard to find. I will take update pics of both and post tomorrow.

And this is the Blue Tort from kapt ken. keep im mind,IMO, blue torts are slow growers.

I also have another acro from saltcreep that fell behind some rocks and I later found it and thought it was a goner. But it has recovered nicely and is growing faster than the other frag from him.

just a note…I DO NOT touch up any of my pics, they come straight from my camera to the post from photobucket. WYSIWYG

That is one of the best feelings ever, saving something you thought was long gone. Bravo! GolfC

Yes John, my blue tort frag was slow growing , until it hit a critical size of a few larger branches, and then it seemed to pick up. lots of acros are like that. it becomes geometric with increasing size. more tips and larger diameter branches to grow.

You know, its a good thing saltcreep was so kind as to spread some of his nicer corals around, before his tank problems. we will all have frags to give back to him to replant, when things settle down. thats why its good to trade em when you got em.!!

Sorry everyone, I showed a pic of the blue millie instead of the Blue Tort in the last comparison pics, just corrected it.

Since i haven’t updated this thread in a long time.

After doing some coral maintanence and rock removal of some palys that were growing in places not to my liking and a W/C i took a video. Please excuse the lousy coloring, it was taken with my iphone. the coral colors lokk much better in real time.

And if someone could tell me how to get the video in the thread instead of just the link, i will make the adjustment.

John that’s all led? No t5? Looks good!

Thanks.

LED and 2 VHO attinics

Thought i would share my superman growth over a months time. Others are growing nicely as well but this one had a bigger cap to fill in.
This is setting under a reef breeder led fixture.

Wow - I don’t know how I missed this thread, these are all awesome growth - and color shots. It’s amazing to see what happens over just a month or two’s time when you look at it all day long and swear nothing is growing.

Great job everyone!

Wow Casey that is very good growth. If you ever decide to frag out that superman, please keep me in mind.

Thanks john, My pics aren’t quite as impressive as yours though, but I’m pretty proud of the superman. It had always been a slow grower for me but has taken off in the new tank.
I will def keep you in mind. It may be a while though because i leave next month for deployment. Should be well and ready to frag when i get back though.

Ok Thanks.

Return home safe and thanks for serving.

Looks pretty impressive Casey.
Any updated pics of the corals previously posted here John?
Other people have growth shots?

I can take some updated pics and post them, maybe tomorrow, gonna be too cold to go outside.

Your tank is outside John? LOL
