went away for a week everything is fine thanks to some good custodianship from my father…had a minor accident aka a flood! i was removing the aqurium hose i utilized to start the siphon which i had left inside after the intial startup when the siphon broke… i didn’t have enough time to shut off the return pump before it dumped about 3 gal of water on my carpet…good thing i have about 10 towels verdict_in …i’m taking this as a lesson not to play around with my equipment >LOCO<
bought a small acanstrea frag today(thanks brett) along with a green candycane coral(aulastrea furcata) and a small colony of button polyps from DPA…the bubble coral (Plerogyra sinuosa) i picked up randomly marked down 50% at petkare in brookside…i consider it a rescue if you’ve ever seen their main display reef you would know why
had an issue the other morning woke up to find my caulastrea ontop of my acan frag! damn turbo snails considering removing them…corals are fine now minor tissue damage on the caulastrea zero necrosis. thought about using lugols but i didn’t see a necessity
just bought a new camera… had to update mine was almost 4 years old and of course that means some new tank shots… i still need to mess around with the different settings
went by greenbank today, glad to see billy finally got his new system up and running…looks like he will be getting some really unique specimens in. had a really nice duncan in with about 6 heads among other things.
i ended up buying a red/pink trachyphilla thought it looked like a lobophyilla at first and a green ricordea florida.
are you adding the b-ionic like i recommended? i see some coraline on the glass but not so much the rock. try scraping some off the glass and putting on the rock. hope its doing as well as last time i saw it!
hows the leg comming along? hope the fuge is doing you well, pm me sometime and come check out my tank.

yeah, i started the two part about 3 months ago…legs doing fine, i still need to take it easy for another month but other than that i’m 100%…thanks for asking…i def gotta come check out your tank…i’ve seen your postings on here, and i’m sure the pictures don’t even compare to what the tank looks like in person

nice stuff. glad to see all my stuff is doing really well for ya.
cant wait to see what he puts in those tanks. any sps? anyrthing else interesting? sorry for off topic[/quote]
thanks again for all those frags…i’ll be adding a few species of sps…but i’m probably going to take the tank down in june…possibly traveling for a few months…so i’m kinda reluctant to add too many sps species due to their fragility
i love all those acans you got. looks like some really nice stuff. i olny wish you would have gone slower so i coul really check them out. so have they been eating well? also have did they come in(shipping wise). im gunna watch the video again, lol
one of my friends is borrowing my new camera, i’ll take some better pics when i get it back…the new acan frag’s have all been feeding along with the lobophyilla.
i haven’t taken any new pictures for awhile, so i figured i would update now that i picked up some new frags last night. (thanks brett and john)…i also added a 6 head euphyilla from a friends tear down the other week.
lol, my stuff looks really nice in your tank. i have not been able to get my acan to inflate for a month or two. really nice growth on the brain and acans, keep up the good work. did you like the zoos?
